THE DIVINE FEMININE IS AN ENERGY, WHICH MEANS SHE CAN’T BE SEEN OR HEARD; BUT SHE CAN BE FELT. SHE IS THE FEMININE THAT EXISTS IN ALL LIVING BEINGS ON EARTH, INCLUDING THE OCEAN, THE MOON AND TREES. SHE IS SOMETIMES KNOWN AS YIN ENERGY, SHAKTI, KALI, OR GAIA.
When you are floating in your divine feminine energy, you have a beautiful relaxed aura about you instead of a desperate need to seek validation and praise.
No amount of external feeding will ever be enough to satisfy an inner lack.
This idea of “not doing and just being authentically you" may feel strange and may initially cause you to feel an even more desperate need for praise and validation until you work through it and find the gift of your own unique divine essence.

Yes, certain situations in our lives may have thrust us into more of a masculine energetic existence which at the time may have been valid and necessary. This is ok as it got us through some tough times and with the increase in domestic violence in our society, with sexual predators, stalkers and just the everyday work-life balance. And never forget that many of us are raising our children in a new COVID world, and we suffer the pressure of expectations others place upon us, or even our own ideals and standards we place upon ourselves - all of these chip away at our feminine spirit.
YOU CAN ONLY FLOAT THROUGH LIFE AS DIVINE FEMININE ENERGY IF YOU RID YOURSELF OF OLD ENERGIES WHICH ARE HOLDING YOU BACK
In order to float through life as the divine feminine energy that we are, we must clear out old stuck energies, especially the masculine ones that no longer serve us. I know from personal experience that becoming a single mother to four children, three of them sons, I had no choice but to step out of my divine feminine role into more of an alpha energy in order to survive and raise a bunch of children solo as a mother and a father. Compounding that was the broken trust that came about from a lying, cheating, and a thief of a husband, all of which made me hold onto strong masculine energy for way too long just incase someone tried to take me or my children down again.
I understand that sometimes life throws us into unexpected situations where we must take stock and shift energies accordingly, but it’s very important that we don't remain in either energy too much or too long after the initial need has gone. Stepping into your masculine energies consists of the following. If you find yourself in need of embracing more of this male energy, practise the following...
Take risks with confidence. You’re not ‘only a woman’. You are a divine female.
• Use affirmations. ... choose some go-to words of strength and courage. For example; anything written by a male leader, or figurehead that holds the vibration of masculine power and strength.
• Take risks with confidence. ... drop the "I am only a female" tag, or “I can't compete with a male”. Just doing whatever it is you want to do despite a failure is never a failure. It shows strength that you tried, even if you fail the first or second time
• Start where you are. ... no timing is ever perfect timing! Also if you believe it to be perfect timing, it will be. "If you keep saying you need to be here to be there you won't ever get there!"
• Work with masculine teachers, mentors, archetypes, and deities. ... soak up their energy, you are after all a vessel made up of water and water conducts the energies around it.
• Less internalization, more action. ... don’t overthink everything, just do. Of course have a plan and a vision, do your homework, but don't waste time procrastinating and over-analysing yourself or your dreams.
• Heal your relationship to the masculine. ... this is a big one if you found yourself, like I did, in an abusive relationship. Needing to operate in the masculine to a huge degree in fighting to survive could have created huge resentment towards anything and everything masculine in my life, including my own masculine side. Holding disdain, hatred or unresolved issues towards masculine energy will ultimately hurt you and your relationships. You must have a happy respectful balance.
• Stand up for yourself: you may be small but you are fierce.

My situation with no father, brothers or male relatives or mentors around me to stand up to my ex husband was extremely difficult, it was up to me to step up and say no more. This was not anything I thought I would have to experience in my lifetime, and it took me years until my children were young adults before I was able to realise what had transpired deep within me; only then could I consciously and subconsciously drop some of my masculine energy and reclaim my true divine feminine essence.
There are many situations in our lives that would create this lowering of our feminine energy and rising of our masculine. Even our parents can have an effect on our levels of each.
When you have this awakening of a sense of loss within you, usually when whatever it was that caused this to transpire has gone, it can leave you feeling very sad and deflated.
The Divine feminine or Divine Goddess within you will urge you to sit with your pain and you must allow it to pass through you, whilst also recognising and accepting the reason for your shift in consciousness. Holding gratitude for your experiences and what they have taught you about yourself. You are a wonderful vessel, a conduit, a conductor of energy and its up to you how you choose to recharge yourself and with what energy source.
It is so important that we don't lose our connection with the Feminine Divine; it is the mother of earth, the goddess that connects us to all sacred universal energies.
Mother Earth works in unison with the Father Sky bringing our children into the world through the power of their life-giving love.
There must be a healthy balance of divine feminine energy and masculine energy not only on our planet but within our being and flowing within our personal relationships. What we are witnessing in the world and since last century with the rise of feminism and female empowerment is an ethos of confusion - what roles are we meant to be playing in each other's lives, and how do we go about it.
We have come full circle since the days of women's liberty and the independent voice of female rights.
But sadly I believe we have confused the sexes in the process and lost sight of how we should be complimenting and supporting each other for the greater good of humanity.
In order to awaken your Divine Feminine...
• Examine wounds surrounding your feminine energy - perhaps you suffered a negative mother or critical grandmother. Love withholding or nothing you ever did was good enough.
• Commit to self-love & self-acceptance. ... on your terms not other’s ideals and rules of what you need.
• Awaken the Divine Feminine – Connect with your body. ... activities such as Kundalinie Yoga, belly dancing, crystal therapy, Tantra etc.
• Get outside and be with Mother Nature. ... grounding bare feet, swimming naked in a river, picking flowers, time with animals.
• Feel how you feel... (without judgement) ... sit and ask questions, digest without criticism, drop the mask.
• Get comfortable speaking your truth... other’s ideals of you and responses to your truth are none of your business.
As much as it is important for a women to find her divine feminine, her essence, it is equally so for a male, just as a women must hold a certain amount of the masculine. A healthy human experience is all about balance both yin and yang.

The divine feminine is a force that exists in everyone, female and male; it is a state of being and awareness. Awareness that encompasses life for what it is, precious and sacred. On the surface the concept of Divine Feminine seems to play into the gender binary, but it's an energy that's available to all of humanity. People often think the Divine Feminine is only for women, but every human, every soul carries feminine and masculine wisdom and tools,
The secret lays in understanding how to balance both.
