Wheels & Dolls
…..and see below for latest news on our amazing merchandise…..
Wheels & Dolls is a group of fabulous and brave women who have come together to raise money and awareness of domestic violence through ride days, and volunteering their professional services. We also help and assist women in how to ride a bike, and how to maintain and care for it. It’s a sisterhood, and we not only ride together, but we support each other.
Here’s my latest video, which I made to enter the Miss Patriot Pinup Pageant in New South Wales, Australia….

"In honour of my brother Phillip Gunk Gunkel"
By Anthony Gunk Gunkel !!
Phillip was a special guy for sure. In the beginning he was just a “normal” guy, you know, chasing girls and playing football in high school.
He learned some valuable lessons early on in life after making some bad choices.
He never hid the truth about his time in prison, he realized later on it probably saved his life. Prison introduced him into the world of rodeo and horses, he was fortunate to do his time in a working prison that had animals.
He later found a great job, found a lovely lady, they married and had a couple of kidlets and a bunch of animals.
Then sadly when life was going great for him he had the accident, he was a foreman for a construction company and he had a site in Fargo North Dakota, and one near Minneapolis Minnesota and he traveled between the 2 job sites. One day or night, I am not clear, he was in between the sites when he fell asleep, drove off the highway and hit a tree, breaking his back and neck leaving him a quadriplegic. BUT!!!!! That didn’t stop him….much. A setback? Yes. He still did some of the things he loved, skiing snow and water. He even went sky diving. He also went traveling, family reunions, he bravely travelled to the Philippines to visit our brother who lived there.
And then....
We decided to throw caution to the wind and strap him onto the back of my Harley Davidson for his 50th birthday!!
Yep, that’s right, we duct taped his feet to the pegs and told him to hang on the best he could!
He couldn't have been more excited or thrilled!
It was a short but high speed trip that took many years for the grin to wear off!
Phillip Gunk Gunkel passed away January 24 2014. was 52 years old. RIP brother.

THE STORY BEHIND W&D LOGO DESIGN
As wild women of the cosmos we believe in freedom of speech, expression, women empowerment, sisterly love, respect for nature, kindness to others, volunteering, mentoring, healthy lifestyle, morals, values, integrity, honesty and universal law.
In order to be invited to become a DOLL you must uphold all of the above qualities.
Being a DOLL is a privilege and an honour. It’s not just a pretty bike group searching for likes and attention. Our ethos is built firmly on rising above trauma and abuse, neglect or bullying. Our purpose is assisting and mentoring new members to find their way, and encouraging women outside of the group to rise as well.
Just like any other bike group or club there are many positions of importance within W&D.
When designing the DOLLS logo much time and consideration was given to the expression of its symbolism to the world around us.
So here are the key features of our logo.
The hexagram, like the pentagram, was and is used in practices of the occult and ceremonial magic and is attributed to the 7 "old" planets outlined in astrology. The six-pointed star is commonly used both as a talisman and for conjuring spirits and spiritual forces in diverse forms of occult magic.
The hexagram appears in Hindu, Buddhist and Jain art, symbolizing concepts such as creation, balance, and the cosmos.
The two triangles also represent the concept of “As Above, So Below”, with consciousness ascending towards the Godhead through one triangle and descending to the material and mundane through the other.
The Hexagram can also be used to represent the four classical elements, in the form of the elemental triangles, as can the seven classical planets. When broken down into its two constituent triangles the elements of Fire, the upward triangle, and Water, the downward triangle, become apparent. When laid over each other, then the element of Earth (downward triangle with line) and Air (upward triangle with line) appear within the Hexagram. The Planets and western Zodiac can be overlayed onto the hexagram as illustrated below and is particularly used by the Golden Dawn as an entry to working with planetary energies;
THE RED ROSE
Meaning; The spiritual representation of red is power, energy, vitality, dominance, action, assertion, creation, survival and passion. When a spiritual sign appears in your life that is red, it usually represents your readiness to take action on a new goal or project that you have been putting off.
THE WAND.
In Wicca, wands are used to summon angels, cast spells, such as abolishing bad energies, change energies, connect with other dimensions, manifesting and much more.
THE STARS.
Stars are often regarded as protective symbols. Stars represent distant divine force or energy. ... Star symbols most commonly represent something good and positive. In contemporary art, design and modern world in general, star is widely used as a symbol of something beautiful, good and positive.
THE PLANETS.
The planet symbols are used in astrology and astronomy to represent a classical planet (including the Sun and the Moon) or one of the eight modern planets.
A planet symbol is also used in alchemy to represent the metals that are associated with our planets.
THE WHITE RIBBON.
The white ribbon is the most important aspect of W&D logo. It is an awareness ribbon to show our group’s association and support of women suffering Domestic Violence, and spread our beliefs. ... it is the most recognised symbol of anti-violence against women, safe motherhood, safe children.
THE CIRCLE
The circle represents the Divine life-force and spirit that keeps our reality in motion.
It symbolizes vitality, wholeness, completion, and protection.
In Wiccan it’s used to hold energy and perform magic in its sacred space.
OWLS, EAGLES AND ALL FEATHERED FRIENDS
Owls are a symbol of paranormal wisdom, regal silence, and fierce intelligence. Eagles, and all birds, have potent significance for us. While some cultures believe owls to be magicians or heralds of death, the white owl symbolizes wisdom and endurance.
The owl encourages you to see beyond the surface and use your curiosity to guide you in life. The owl spirit animal usually symbolizes death, but it can also mean a great change will come into your life. Owls represent transition, they are sent from the divine universe to guide you during difficult times in your life. They are the perfect animal to represent the work we do within Wheels & Dolls.
BLACK CATS
Spending part of my childhood roots in Ireland, I learnt a lot about witchcraft. The black cat is held in high regard in Dublin, the birth town of my mother. Their arrival in a home presaged prosperity. For a single woman, owning a black cat was said to attract numerous suitors. Black cats also appear or cross our path to deliver spiritual messages. Angels also manifest themselves in the form of a cat. Souls reincarnated can also choose to come back as a cat to act as a guardian or spirit guide. The cat is a lucky symbol and it also frightens away demons, evil energy, and stalkers!
Black cats possess strong powers of good. If you keep your black cats happy and safe they will stay with you for eternity.
