"How can you survive the difficulties of your human experience - and thrive?"...

With our fast-paced lifestyles, our current and seemingly never-ending COVID situation, trying to keep our jobs, raise our families, juggle friends, boyfriends or husbands and kids, it all contributes to our stressors which can affect our health, regardless of our social standing or the country in which we live.
Over the years we have gathered more and more stuff, but we have less time to actually enjoy it. We have more doctors, but many people’s health is worse off!
So lets get real!
It’s time to cleanse your soul!
We have more food, but less nutrition; more focus on drugs and pharmaceuticals than natural therapies and exercise; mental health issues are on the rise despite the claim our governments are looking after us.


So something is terribly wrong.

In order to detox your soul you must detox all aspects of your life, your whole body.
Modern living, expectations, demands, and endless responsibilities are massively burdensome on our souls so you need to do a regular cleanse to stay afloat.

1.THE FIRST TO GO! ...

ASSHOLES!! Yep! you heard me right, ASSHOLES! Those selfish blood sucking vampires that want to steal your light and your joy. The ones that have no reason or excuse for their terrible actions and nasty words. The souls that never heal and use you as a dumping waste ground.

We all had them when we first went to school….nastly mean and selfish little boys and girls who probably led a clique of followers, and all they thought about was ‘me! me! me!,

We’ve all had them in our lives. It might be at school, when we were excluded from joining the followers of some kid who gathered acolytes; or at work, when our boss or colleagues excluded us or were just plain mean. And how did you deal with it? My advice to people is always…. “…if they’ve excluded you, then it’s their loss, and almost certainly your gain…”

 

Well, let’s stop making excuses for them, accepting their bad behaviour, mollycoddling, and enabling them!

That’s it with them! Finished! No more! Dump the assholes. They go right now!

“Easy for you to say, Leeza, but what if the asshole is family?”


Well, that's even worse, isn't it! Any family member that dares treat you so badly and appallingly, who’s devoid of kindness, love and respect, breaks all family bonds, and therefore unless they change they must go.

We come into this world alone, we go out alone, and it doesn't matter who it is that is hurting you, they need to go now if they aren't enhancing your life or you will end up sick.
After living with a narcissist and dating another, counselling women of DV, I’ve seen first hand the devastation that occurs from allowing our souls to be covered in filth.
Remember this...
“Whether through overt cruelty, passive aggression, or just for the hell of it, toxic people prioritize their self-interest above everyone else’s. It’s time for you to prioritise yourself  over them.
These assholes don’t consider another person’s perspective or emotional state; not caring to acknowledge how their behavior affects others, they disregard personal boundaries, avoid admitting when they’ve done wrong, and are unwilling to change, or keep promising they will but they never do. If a skerrick of the same behaviour was done to them, then all hell would break loose and they would leave you in a heart beat.

Never forget that!

2.CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!

Does that parental instruction ring a bell from your childhood?
Your mum was onto something here! She probably wasn't aware of what exactly, but it makes so much sense to your soul’s peace.
My healer father and I would sell stuff, whereas my mother would buy stuff! Two completely different understandings of how to cleanse and elate your soul.
Physical clutter has been shown to cause anxiety and stress, which means it doesn’t just affect the space around you, it also leads to mental anguish. One sure-fire way to detox your soul is to minimize your possessions and only keep things you actually "need" or really love.
Most of us have too many clothes, shoes, too much make-up, too many kitchen gadgets, a wardrobe full of clothes we’ll never wear again.  Once you have a neat, simple clean work and living space, the clutter in your mind will start to diminish, too.


4.DRINK!

75 PERCENT OF US LIVE IN A STATE OF DEHYDRATION.
Drinking sugary, carbonated drinks IS NOT drinking. These so-called drinks only increase dehydration and insulin spikes. Alkaline Water is the best natural drink on the planet, and making sure you drink enough water each day will give you increased energy, clearer skin, better digestive health, and balanced gut bacteria.
This will help your whole body function better, help keep weight off and run your system at its most efficient level, which will help your brain, and give your soul the daily cleansing it needs.


5. FOOD THAT CLEANSES YOUR SOUL..

When we consume unhealthy foods, takeaway, and especially alcohol, our mind and spirit take a beating right along with our body. It is imperative to eat whole, fresh, nutrient-rich foods. Without the proper nutrients, we would not be able to survive, and the best source of vitamins and minerals is in a predominantly alkaline lifestyle, lots of green veggies, fish. Keeping your diet in check will help you feel spiritually well. More on this in another blog.

6. MEDITATION.

 Daily Meditation is imperative to our physical health and a calm soul. It can lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase concentration, improve relationships, help with mental clarity, contribute to feelings of peace, and even boost compassion for others. It creates a safe and honest place to check in with yourself, ask yourself questions and hear the answers.


7. TREAT YOURSELF!

STOP!

LISTEN!

You aren't spending enough time pampering yourself! With all of your responsibilities, there’s barely enough time left in your day to catch your breath! I remember being a single mum of four young children and not even being able to go to the loo alone!  
Boy if I only knew then what I know now! 
I would have created my own mother’s group and made a time-share agreement for our kids!
The truth is that I never ever fit into the "typical mother" category and the women around me were unfriendly and even hostile.
I did finally surrender and hire a part time nanny to gain some relief. With no family support, it was a must.
You have to create a way to treat  yourself every once in a while to regroup and give your mind a break from all of life’s stresses.
You will be no good to yourself or your family if you do not. You will implode and explode.
It’s just as important that you allow yourself time out, as it is for anyone else in your household. Perhaps you need to renegotiate your position in the household to gain this time, because if you don’t speak up and ask for it, then chances are no one is going to hand it to you.

So what is the language, and what are the words which you can use to treat yourself, anyway!? Maybe you don’t even know! I certainly didn't.
I was so busy treating everyone else in my household especially my husband, that it suddenly dawned on me I hadn't had an orgasm in over a decade!

8.TURN YOUR PHONE OFF
PUT YOUR COMPUTER AWAY!

Technology has its place, and it is a valuable tool, but it has also reduced our quality of life. Not just in terms of radiation and pollution but we have stopped talking to one another and we’re spending more time scrolling mindlessly through junk. Of course technology has its place and benefits, searching information, studying, music, friends etc, but the way we use it in everyday life is becoming detrimental to our health and well-being. Instead of going outside to play in the dirt, many kids would rather play on a tablet or watch hours of cartoons. Couples go out to eat and stare at their phones instead of one another. Parents scroll through Facebook instead of paying attention to their children. We are becoming disjointed, detached and unavailable, not only to those around us, but most especially, to ourselves.

9.GET UP NOW!

Not later! Not tomorrow! Or next week! GET UP NOW!

The benefits of exercise cannot be denied!
But so many of us live a sedentary lifestyle. Moving your body, getting the blood pumping, gets everything moving! Stuck energy, stagnant thoughts, procrastinating, all of these will shift up in momentum and disappear!
Exercise will help to free up your mind, which will help raise your spirits, too. There are so many different types of exercise; you just have to find one that works for you! Whatever size, shape, fitness level there will be something you can do.
You've just got to start.
Don’t over-think it! Just do it! If you just sit at your desk all day, then get up and walk around the office or your house once every hour or so. That’s a start!

What’s that I hear you say?... you don't like it? Of course you don’t. A car which hasn’t been driven for a year will be hard and cranky to start…but once its wheel start to turn, it’ll be a smoothe and easy ride. Just like your body. Just do it! Do it anyway! Just get going! Toughen up! No one's going to babysit you!

After a while you will find something amazing will happen, you will get better at it! It will become easier; You’ll begin to look forward to it. And when you don’t do it, your body will be crying out for exercise. That’s when you start to like it!!

10. STOP BITCHING!

Most people don’t like their jobs, their friends, but continue to work or spend time in these situations anyway. The truth is that you’re only perpetuating the current negative momentum and nothing better or new is going to come along while your living in this low vibrational energetic deficit.
You want better? Start talking better!
To others and yourself!
We don’t get to live forever so don’t you want a beautiful, happy, abundant experience?
We need to make the most of our time here quality, and the words we say to ourselves and out loud to others matter. They shape all our experiences. They open doors or they close them. No one wants to be around a negative whiner, or a two-faced bitch. Imagine if you were someone else observing your behaviour!  What would you think of you?
We don't just harm others with our nastiness, meanness and put downs….we harm ourselves. Remember do and say unto others what you yourself would like.

11.FINALLY! GET LOST!
YEP! YOU HEARD ME! BUGGER OFF!


Nature is reality; what we have created around it is not. Manmade creations will never give us the peace, serenity and cleansing that nature does because we weren’t designed to live in an unnatural world.
We are meant to walk barefoot and feel the dirt between our toes, and swim naked with the fish. 
Make sure you take time to go bush and get lost. To sit amongst the trees and listen to the birds. Go somewhere new, discover and explore. We are animals and we’re meant to roam, not be locked up at home in a repetitive boring predictable routine!
Spend time at the beach or mountains; it doesn't matter where as long as it’s in nature; it will help you reset your mind and cleanse your soul.
